The Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) offers structured, paid internship opportunities with more than 300 leading companies across diverse sectors and locations. The initiative aims to enhance the employability of youth by providing meaningful industry exposure and real-world work experience.
Selected interns will receive:
- A monthly stipend of ₹9,000
- A one-time joining grant of ₹6,000
Eligible candidates (18 – 25 years of age and not engaged in full-time employment) may register and apply through the official PMIS portal: https://pminternship.mca.gov.in/login/
USTM has conducted a meeting with all the Deans and Heads of Departments on 02.05.2026 to disseminate information regarding PMIS and to ensure wide circulation of the scheme among students of all departments. The Deans and HoDs have been directed to encourage eligible students to register and apply for suitable internship opportunities through the PMIS portal.
