Visionary Educator Mahbubul Hoque Shines Among India’s Top 25 Inspiring Education Leaders

Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque has established fourteen institutions under the expansive umbrella of Education Research and Development Foundation (ERDF) over twenty-three years, with a tiny start of only four students, and expanded his educational enterprise from KG to UG to PG to PhD, with over 10,000 students, with more on the rise.

The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya hailed as the first state private university dedicated to science and technology in North East India, earning an “A Grade” accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its first assessment cycle in 2021, with credentials as the best private university in North East India, it continues to take a top spot on the national stage among the 200 leading universities in India, being the only private university in North East India to feature in the prestigious NIRF Rankings for four consecutive years, including 2025.
