USTM has taken an initiative to support and provide Free Education and Scholarships in various forms to the exceptionally meritorious students from weak financial backgrounds, as they cannot afford the liability of such courses.

The different forms of Scholarship/Fellowship provided at USTM have been categorized in the following ways:

• Free and Concessional Admission
• Ph.D Fellowship
• Merit Scholarship
• Payback Scholarship
• Memorial Scholarship
• Community Scholarship and
• Alumni Scholarship
• Excellence Scholarship on Results
• Scholarship on Emergency/ happenings (In case of sudden Accident or death of depending guardians.

Other than the following USTM also provides assistance to the students in applying for the following scholarships and bank loans:

• Government Scholarship.
• Scholarships provided by Non-Government Agencies.
• Bank Loan.

The University issues notification mentioning the various scholarships to be offered in:

• Social Media
• University Website
• University Notice Boards and
• Newspapers.
