Founder’s Day 2022

Founder’s Day 2022 was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all ERDF institutions through a series of competitions, including Debate, Speech, Essay & Poem Writing, Photo Album, Art & Painting Display, Singing, and Video Presentation. These events were held at various levels from 29th November to 2nd December 2022, with some final rounds conducted as inter-school, inter-institutional, or inter-departmental competitions. This initiative aimed to familiarize students with the institution’s rich legacy.

To motivate and recognize student participation, ERDF awarded prizes worth over ₹2 lakhs to the winners of different competitions. Members of the USTM family also extended their heartfelt wishes to the Hon’ble Chancellor on this special occasion.

At USTM, different departments marked Founder’s Day on 29th and 30th November 2022 by organizing a range of competitions such as Group Discussion, Rangoli, Presentations, Portrait Designing, and Painting on the first day, followed by Extempore Speech, Essay Writing, Photography, and Debate on the second day.

Faculty members from respective departments served as judges for the competitions, ensuring a fair and engaging experience for all participants. The celebrations concluded on 1st December 2022 at USTM with a grand ceremonial function, where winners were honored with prizes. In the schools and college in Barak valley, the celebration concluded on 2^nd December 2022 with prize distribution ceremony.
