USTM provides a vibrant academic environment with experienced faculties, well-equipped laboratories, library facilities & 24*7 Wi-Fi facilities for students. Join our vibrant community and embark on a journey of discovery, creativity, and excellence in engineering and technology.
Academic Focus:
Computer Science & Engineering integrates computer engineering and computer science, which deals with the learning of computers, including design (structure) and their functions for calculations, information processing and systems power. The curriculum emphases on knowledge-based course work integrated with skill development as a part of training. Artificial Intelligence (Al), focuses on creating intelligent machines that can simulate human-like behavior, learn from data, and make decisions with minimal human intervention.
Data Science is crucial in today’s digital age; the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data is essential to drive informed decision-making and innovations across industries. Civil Engineering deals with planning, design, construction and maintenance of development works which include roads, railways, bridges, buildings, dams, canals, airports, etc. Mechanical Engineering is one of the most diverse fields of engineering. Mechanical engineers design, develop, and test products to complete the difficult task of turning a concept into reality. Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a fast growing and one of the most sought after disciplines in the field of engineering study. The technical modernization of the world and computerization in the work field makes it necessary to use and understand circuits and computerized devices in the electrical & electronics field.
Career Scopes:
Students graduating from Computer Science pursuing B.Tech, M. Tech, BCA & MCA Programmes begin their career as junior pro grammers and grow at a very fast pace to become systems analysts and project leaders. Chances of jobs and internships are promptly accessible both on campus and externally. Al expertise is in high demand across industries, offering lucrative career opportunities for graduates. Al prepares students to be at the forefront of
technological innovation and shape the future of technological innovation and also in PSUs and private sectors. India’s rapidly growing civil infrastructure works have opened up many new opportunities for civil engineers and nowadays they can easily turn into job creators by becoming entrepreneurs and contractors. Graduate civil engineers can open their own consultancy services. They can also go for research and take up teaching as their career option. Mechanical Engineering is a good career option in India with opportunities available in various sectors like automobile, aerospace, energy, construction, and many more. In addition, with the advancement of technology, the field of mechanical engineering is constantly evolving, providing opportunities for professionals to upgrade their skills and knowledge. Electrical & Electronics Engineers are highly employable and can find work in many areas, including the electronics, automotive, IT, gaming, telecoms, manufacturing, transport, utilities, construction industries, etc. They can also work in fields of Power generation, distribution, transmission, energy storage, renewable energy, and energy management and even in industries like utilities, manufacturing, and construction.
