Career Scope:
The curriculum of the Department of Chemistry, USTM is framed to provide both basic and applied knowledge in the field of chemistry. The employment opportunities for chemical professionals can be divided into five main sectors: industry, academia, government, non-profit, and entrepreneurship. Training is extended to prepare students nationally and regionally for induction into Ph.D. programs and Jobs at PSUs across the country. Information on different fellowship schemes are updated here at the department. The department takes special initiative to conduct a short-term skill development course on plastic technology in association with organization like CIPET, to give technical know-how related to the manufacturing and designing plastic products widening career prospects.
