About the Programme:

The Program B.Sc. Zoology enriches knowledge about the wide diversity of invertebrates and vertebrates of the animal kingdom, their classification, characters, distribution, and their ecological and evolutionary significance. It helps in learning about the environment and its contribution to sustainable development and to make aware about environmental degradation and formulations for its protection, conservation of the species with reference to local importance. The subject content not only makes one understand the morphological, anatomical, biochemical, physiological, and genetical aspects of animals but also to acquire entrepreneurial knowledge about sericulture, apiculture, fisheries, poultry farming, and nature’s photographic skills which aid in different fields of profession.
