Research Advancement in Space Exploration Session at USTM

The University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) organized a special session on “Research Advancement in Space Exploration” today, bringing together students and faculty from the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science.
The highlight of the session was the participation of Prof. Dhruba J. Saikia, a renowned Indian astrophysicist and radio astronomer. Prof. Saikia shared his vast knowledge and research experiences in the field of space science, inspiring young minds to look beyond conventional boundaries and pursue innovative research in astronomy and astrophysics.
In his address, Prof. Saikia emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing space research, highlighting how physics, chemistry, and earth sciences together play a crucial role in understanding the mysteries of the universe.
