Career Scope:
The programmes are expected to equip the students to be able to take up teaching jobs in universities and colleges as well as research positions in universities and other research institutions. It will also equip the students to appear successfully in competitive examinations such as NET, SLET, UPSC, SPSC, SSC, etc.
It will also equip the students with the requisite skills to take up jobs in private sector companies, NGOs, advocacy groups, the UN and its specialised agencies, other international organizations, foreign embassies, and also as advisers/assistants to senior politicians (MPs, Ministers, etc.).
The skills imparted to the students in the course will also enable them to take up jobs as political correspondents for newspapers, television channels, etc.
