As one of the leading private Universities in North-East India, USTM emphasizes on inducing an atmosphere of competitiveness among its students and are encouraged to achieve higher in the field of academic excellence.

We understand the importance of skilled guidance to young students who are sincere about accomplishing their academic goals. With that in mind, USTM aids young minds to BE COMPETITIVE, CREATIVE & POSITIVE, by providing coaching classes for multiple state-level as well as national level competitive examinations.

Under its scope of Coaching and Guidance Division, USTM offers guidance in the following areas –

CIVIL SERVICES COACHING

The University takes pride in mentoring aspiring students appearing for Civil & Public Service Examinations with an objective to carve successful paths for its students. The coaching sessions are run by experts and skilled mentors in their respective fields.

USTM has been coaching PG students in various subjects for CBSE-UGC-NET, which is one of the most challenging entrance examinations, that dictates minimum eligibility norms for individuals willing to obtain the award of Junior Research Fellowship and also for taking up the position of Assistant Professor in State as well as Central University affiliated colleges.

Special coaching sessions are also arranged for students who prepare for job-specific competitive examinations such as Bank PO, SSC and other officer level examinations for both UG and PG students. The students are also provided training for Personal Interview as well as Group Discussion sessions which are needed at the time of interview.

An initiative of our sister concern; Regional Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) conducts coaching classes for GATE aspirants pertaining to various branches of engineering, which is available in the University from 6th semester onwards. GATE coaching program is included within the academic routine of the students under various branches.

With the intent of accelerating the dreams of meritorious students who are often held back due to financial constraints, USTM’s Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Mahbubul Hoque has conceptualized a unique scheme – HOQUE20. Under this scheme, twenty brilliant students are selected through an examination, who are awarded with full sponsorship powered by USTM’s Parent Institution, ERDF; for undergoing coaching to appear in Civil Service Examinations.
