USTM got NCTE approval for B.Ed.
Prof. Qoumrul Hoque School of
Education, a constituent college of University of Science & Technology,
Meghalaya (USTM) has got the approval from National Council for Teachers’
Education (NCTE), ERC Bhubaneswar to run B.Ed. courses with an intake capacity of
hundred. It has been stated in the resolution number 170.6.5 dated 28.02.2014 &
01.03.2014 under clause 7(11) of NCTE Regulation 2009, in its 170th meeting.
The buildings & infrastructure
including qualified faculty members to run the B.Ed. courses are already in
place. The courses will be started from April this year for which notification
will be made by the University shortly.
USTM had already got the approval
from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to run MBA
courses under its School of Business Science.
The University is committed to
comply with all the necessary statutory bodies of Govt. of India to run
different courses under its various schools.
